Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination (IPTSE) 2019

The IPTSE is an annual examination designed for school and college stu dents across streams targeting classes IX to XII school students and under graduate college/ polytechnic students. Aimed at driving awareness about intellectual property rights, copyright, patents, trademark, geographical indication, industrial design and trade secrets among the Indian youth

IPTSE is a joint initiative of ASSOCHAM and ERICSSON which is supported by Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India. Also many institutions have supported this initiative and issued a circular to all institutions under their jurisdictions. The institutions are All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), University of Delhi, Mumbai University, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Kurukshetra University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Doctor Hari Singh Gour University, Babasaheb Bhumrao Ambedkar Unveristy, Aligarh Muslim University, Bangalore University, Sant Longwal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Hamdard University, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Navsari Agriculture University.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

  • Any school can participate in this competition
  • Students who are studying in class 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th can participate
  • Students of any stream are eligible for this competition

How to Apply

 

Individual

Step 1: Students have to register themselves online
Step 2: Pay the registration fee online

Step 1: Schools have to register themselves online
Step 2: School have to download the format of student registration and have to fill the student information after that upload the file

Selection Process

 

Winner will be selected on the basis of Max marks obtained in the exam + Difficulty levels attained + Time spent per question(if needed to break-ties)

Examination

  • The Intellectual Property Talent Search Examination (IPTSE) will be conducted online for a duration of 45 mins for school students
  • The exam will have 5 sections and each question will be time bound
  • It will be a multiple choice objective type questions
  • Student will be provided with the exact date and time of the examination well in advance
  • Examination will be online students will have to arrange for a laptop and desktop with internet connection on their own or through the school’s help
