About Us
Panjab University (PU), located in Chandigarh, is one of India's premier and oldest state-affiliated universities, tracing its roots to the University of the Punjab founded in Lahore in 1882. BA Social Science (H) - 4 years
In Social Sciences under the Framework of Honours School System with majors in any one of the subjects of Geography, History, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology and any other subject as decided by the Syndicate from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate must have completed the 10+2 system or equivalent in any stream with minimum 60%.

Age Limit : The candidate must not be above 20 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought to the First Semester.
Selection Process
- Merit Basis.
- 10% additional weightage of marks obtained at (i) above will be given to students who have studied Social Science at +2 level.
