Scaler (by InterviewBit), one of India’s fastest-growing start-ups, today announced the launch of Scaler School of Technology, a 4-year residential undergraduate computer science program designed and delivered to revolutionize higher education for the next generation of India’s software professionals. The 4-year residential program located in the heart of India’s Silicon Valley, Bengaluru.

Course Offered

Computer Science & AI Program (4 years – Residential).

Scaler School of Technology's UG program, valued by top tech companies, our students would be advised to pursue a Bachelor's degree in parallel to ensure they have more flexibility with their career outcomes. Bachelor's degree (online) we recommend our students to pursue in parallel is either from IIT Madras – BS Data Science & Applications or BITS Pilani - BSc Computer Science (H). This online degree program runs independently and SST students can pursue this degree concurrently with the Scaler School of Technology's residential undergraduate program. It's important to note that the IIT Madrass/ BITS Pilani degree is awarded separately, and admission to the degree program is solely at the discretion of IIT Madras/ BITS Pilani. Students will have to complete all requirements as set by IIT Madras/ BITS Pilani for the grant of the degree in the IIT Madras/ BITS Degree Program.

Eligibility Criteria

Academics - For current class 12 students & Passout with Mathematics & minimum 60% from recognized board.
Age - Under 20 as of July 1, 2026.

Selection Process

The candidates have to appear for the Scaler National Scholarship and Entrance Test (Scaler NSET). Those who qualify the test will be eligible for a Personal Interview (PI) round.

Admission Process

STEP 1 – Age & Academics ; Under 20 as of July 1, 2026, with at least 60% in Class XII with Mathematics from recognised board.
STEP 2 – Fill up your Form & Register yourself. Reserve your slot for the Scaler National Scholarship & Entrance Test (ScalerNSET).
STEP 3 – Appear for the Online Entrance Test (120 mins) to determine admission and scholarship eligibility, covering syllabus of Mathematics & Logical Reasoning.
STEP 4 – Interview with Industry Experts, where you’ll share your goals & showcase problem solving skills.
Your Profile will e shortlisted on the basis of one of the following :
> Scaler NSET Score.
> Profile based Shortlisting
You may be shortlisted for interviews if your profile demonstrates strength in
one or more of the following areas:

Competitive Exam Scores: High scores in exams like JEE, BITSAT, SAT, etc.
Olympiad Achievements: Top performance in INMO, IMO, INOI, IOI, etc. (Top 100 in INMO & INOI qualify for 100% scholarships).
Tech/Entrepreneurship Achievements: For example 1. Created a tech project that has actual user 2. Top rank in websites like Codeforces.

STEP 5 - Within 7-10 days of your interview, you will receive your result. Candidates will be either Accepted or Rejected.

Important Dates

Admissions to Scaler School of Technology will happen across three rounds. Scholarships are limited and applying early increases the chances of receiving one since these are awarded to select students upon qualification.
You can retake the NSET up to 3 times and the Personal Interview round up to 2 times in an academic year.
Scholarships are limited and we encourage students to apply early to enhance their chances of receiving one.
