About Us
National Forensic Sciences University, formerly Gujarat Forensic Science University, is a Public university in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is solely dedicated to Forensic and Investigative Science. The Gujarat Forensic Science University was formed by the Government of Gujarat in 2008. It was created by Act 17 passed in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly on 30 September 2008. It was upgraded to the National Forensic Sciences University in October 2020 and is recognised as an Institution of National Importance by the Act of Parliament.
The National Forensic Sciences University with the status of an Institution of National Importance is the world's first and only University dedicated to Forensic, behavioral, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and allied Sciences. It was established by the Government of India through Act, 2020 (32 of 2020) with the objective of fulfilling the acute shortage against the increasing demand for forensic experts in the country and around the world.

Exam Pattern
NFAT 2024 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only. The medium of Question Paper for NFAT 2024 will be English.
