About the Championship
 

The World English Championship (WEC) 2026 is an international English language competition designed for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The championship aims to develop conceptual understanding, critical thinking, communication skills, and creative application of English rather than rote memorization.

Through a thoughtfully designed examination, students strengthen their reading, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and reasoning skills while becoming part of a global learning community that values academic excellence and lifelong learning.


Eligibility Criteria
 

Students studying in:

  • Kindergarten
  • Grades 1 to 12

Examination Modes
 

Students can choose between two examination formats:

Online Mode

  • Individual registration through parents
  • School registration available
  • AI-proctored examination

Offline Pen-and-Paper Mode

  • Registration through schools only
  • Individual registration is not permitted

Students may choose their preferred examination date and time slot.

Examination Fee : ₹500 per student

The online examination remains available for 24 hours on the selected examination date. Students may begin the test at any time during this period. Once started, the examination must be completed within 60 minutes.


 

AI-Proctored Examination System
 

The online examination uses advanced AI-based proctoring technology to ensure fairness and maintain examination integrity.

The examination may be automatically terminated if any unusual activity is detected, including:

  • Minimizing or resizing the browser window
  • Opening new tabs or applications
  • Taking screenshots
  • Using keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Print Screen, or F12
  • Poor visibility of the candidate
  • Leaving the examination seat
  • Presence of another person
  • Using mobile phones or unauthorized materials
  • Presence of books, papers, pens, water bottles, or other prohibited objects

Students are advised to take the examination in a quiet, well-lit environment with a stable internet connection.


Registration Process
 

Individual Registration (Online Only)

Students can register through their parents by:

  1. Paying the examination fee online.
  2. Completing the registration form.
  3. Uploading the required identity documents.
  4. Selecting the preferred examination date.
  5. Creating login credentials.

Accepted Identity Documents

  • School ID Card
  • School Fee Receipt
  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Residency Proof
  • Other valid government-issued identification documents

School Registration

Schools can register multiple students through a bulk registration process by submitting student details in the prescribed spreadsheet format.

Fee Structure for Schools

  • More than 100 students: ₹450 per student
  • Up to 100 students: ₹500 per student

After verification, schools receive a consolidated payment link to complete registration.


Results

Results are generally announced within one month after the final examination date.
