The Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR), originally established as Department of pharmacy at Kashmiri Gate Polytechnic in 1964 is one of the departments of Directorate of Training and Technical Education.

From College of Pharmacy it was upgraded and now emerged as Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) vide gazette notification of July 2004, under Department of Training and Technical Education, GNCT of Delhi affiliated to University of Delhi. It is also trying to emerge as the first Pharmacy University of India, Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University (DPSR-U) as per the Govt. Legislation enacted on 11th September 2008. DIPSAR has developed as State of Art. It is now a full-fledged Centre of Excellence which is constantly producing top class pharmaceutical scientists, pharmacists thereby significantly contributing towards the development and progress of World and India in particular.

Eligibility-

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester B. Pharm. or First Year D. Pharm. must have passed: Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12 year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B. / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects with 55% or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics) from Recognized Schools.

A candidate seeking admission to First Semester Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) must have passed: Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (12-year Course) or the Indian School Examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (P.C.B.) as optional subjects with 55 % or above marks* in aggregate (theory and practical) and individually in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Recognized Schools.

A 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates seeking admission.
