CUET -DELHI UNIVERSITY-2022

 

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for academic session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.

Admission to all supernumerary seats will be through CUET 2022. Candidates desirous of taking admission on Supernumerary seats must appear in CUET 2022.

Candidates desirous of taking admission under Minority quota must appear in CUET 2022.

 

In Minority Colleges 50% of the seats are for candidates belonging to unreserved category and 50% are reserved for Minority candidates.

There are six minority colleges in the University of Delhi, as listed below:

For admissions to St. Stephen’s College and Jesus & Mary College, following admission criteria shall apply:

Only on the basis of merit of CUET Score

85% weightage to CUET score and 15% weightage to Interviews conducted by the concerned college.

 

Eligibility and Paper Pattern

 

Bachelor of Management Studies/ BBA (FIA) / B.A(Hons.) Business Economics

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:

Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.

 

B.Com. (Hons.)

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1

OR

Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1

Merit will be based on the best CUET scores obtained from any of the above-mentioned combinations of subjects.

 

B. Com

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

OR

Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2 + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

Merit will be based on the best CUET scores obtained from any of the above-mentioned combinations of subjects.

Note: As the weightage of the CUET Sections is not the same, appropriate proration will be done.

 

 

B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation)

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:

Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + Section III of CUET (General Test)

Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination.

 

 

Bachelor of Sciences

B.A. (Hons.) Multimedia and Mass Communication

 

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:

 

Any one Language from List A + Mass Media/Mass Communication + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.

 

B.A. (Program)

. The University of Delhi offers more than 180 BA (Program) Combinations, thereby offering an amalgamation of different subjects.

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

OR

Combination II: Any one language from List A + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2 + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)

 

Merit will be based on the best CUET score obtained from any of the above-mentioned combinations of subjects.
