About Us
Symbiosis is one of India’s leading educational institutions, imparting quality education across diverse verticals for over four decades. Symbiosis also personifies Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam the ‘whole world being one family’.
In recognition of the pioneering work done in the field of education, The Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has been bestowed with ‘Autonomy’ by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, effective from the academic year 2012-13. However, we continue to be under the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune which will confer the degree to our students.

Eligibility Criteria
-
The candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent from recognized board.

If a student from Maharashtra State does not have a Domicile Certificate, he/she can select the "Other State" as a "Domicile state" in the pre-merit application form. He/she can change the domicile state to Maharashtra after he/she submits the certificate to the college before 31st October 2025.

If the student wishes to apply under specific category such as defence quota, sports/cultural quota, NER (North Eastern Region) quota etc., then he/she should select the relevant quota while filling the pre-merit application form.

A student has to enter total marks of all subjects for which he has appeared (Aggregate percentage).

We do not consider percentage like 'BEST OF FOUR' or 'BEST OF FIVE' subjects.

If the student has entered the percentage on the basis of 'BEST OF FOUR' or 'BEST OF FIVE' subjects, he/she will not be admitted even though his / her name appeared in the merit list on the basis of those marks.

The reservation under caste category is applicable only to the students from the State of Maharashtra having caste certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra.

Caste category students from other States will be considered as General Category for this purpose.
Admission Process

Admission process for AY 2025-26 will be online. The student is not required to come to college physically, but he/she will have to upload all the required documents in the pre-merit registration form. Therefore, please check all the instructions carefully and follow the process thoroughly.

The student can opt for more than one programme. Pre-merit registration charges will be applicable as per the number of programmes (Category 1 or 2) which the applicant has selected.

All admissions to the B.Com/B.A. regular programmes will be purely on merit basis and as per the reservation policy of the Government of Maharashtra.
