CareerPrabhu Education Private Limited (“CEPL”, “WonderSkool”, “we”, “us”) provides career counselling, psychometric assessment, admissions guidance and school career programmes. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to our website www.wonderskool.com, Wondy (our website assistant), our forms, and our counselling services, whether delivered online or in person.
We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws. By using our website or services, you agree to this policy.
1.Who this policy covers
- Students who register for or use our services, and their parents or guardians
- Visitors who send an enquiry, chat with Wondy or browse our website
- Schools and school staff who work with us on career programmes
- People who apply for a job with us
2.Children’s data
Most of the students we guide are under 18. For any student under 18, we collect and use personal data only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian. When a student under 18 registers, we ask for parent or guardian details and confirm consent with the parent or guardian before providing paid services.
We do not track children’s behaviour across other websites, and we do not use children’s data for targeted advertising.
If you believe a child’s data has been shared with us without parental consent, write to us at the address in section 12 and we will review and, where appropriate, delete it.

We do not ask for information about religion, caste or health unless a student or parent chooses to share it because it is relevant to an application, such as a reservation category or a disability accommodation. We use such information only for that purpose.
4.Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange counselling
- To deliver the services you register for, including tests, reports, counselling sessions, shortlists and application support
- To prepare and submit applications to colleges, universities and testing bodies on the student’s instructions
- To send service updates such as session reminders, deadlines and alerts relevant to the student
- To issue invoices, collect payments and meet tax and legal requirements
- To improve our services, website and Wondy, using data in aggregated or de-identified form wherever possible
- To send information about our programmes and events, only where you have agreed to receive it
- To consider job applications
We may use anonymised outcomes (for example, “a student from Panchkula admitted to a UK university”) in our marketing. We use a student’s name, photograph, testimonial or admission result only with the written consent of the student and, for students under 18, their parent or guardian.
6.Communication by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and email
When you submit a form or register with us, you agree that WonderSkool may contact you about your enquiry or services by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email. You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP, using the unsubscribe link, or writing to us. You will still receive service messages needed to deliver a service you have paid for.
7.Wondy
Wondy is an automated assistant that answers general questions and points you to the right part of the website. Wondy conversations are stored so that we can respond to follow-up questions and improve the service. Please do not share sensitive personal details, such as identity numbers or health information, with Wondy. Wondy gives general guidance only; decisions about a student should be discussed with a counsellor.
8.How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to registration: up to 4 years from the last contact
- Student records, reports and application documents: for the duration of the service and up to 4 years afterwards, so that we can support follow-up applications, transfers and future admissions questions
- Invoices and payment records: as long as required by tax and accounting laws
- Wondy conversations: up to 1 year
- Job applications: up to 1 year
After these periods, we delete data or keep it only in anonymised form.
9.How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including access controls, encrypted connections, password-protected systems and limiting access to staff who need it for their work. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
10.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct or update inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data that is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law or to complete a service you have requested;
- withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it, and we may be unable to continue a service that needs that data;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.
To use any of these rights, write to the Grievance Officer in section 12. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
