CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur, a leading hill agricultural university of India came into existence on November 01, 1978 to cater to the needs of hill farmers. Prior to this, agricultural education in Himachal Pradesh was taken care of by two Colleges of Agriculture - one at Palampur and the other at Solan which were part of the then Agricultural Complex functioning under Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

Eligibility Criteria

 

Merit based Programmes

 

  • Age Limit: The candidate must have completed 17 years of age by 31st December, 2019.

 

B.Sc Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics)

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala / MHRD, New Delhi).
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/ OBC category (40% for SC/ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with not less than pass marks in each subject.

 

B.Sc Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology & Chemistry)

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala / MHRD, New Delhi).
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/ OBC category (40% for SC/ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology with not less than pass marks in each subject.

 

B.Sc (Hons) Community Science

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala / MHRD, New Delhi).
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/ OBC category (40% for SC/ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate with English & PCB/ PCM/ PCA (P-Physics, C-Chemistry, B-Biology, MMathematics & A-Agriculture/ Arts with Home Science as one of the subjects.

 

B.Tech (Food Technology)

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate/ Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by an Educational Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala/ MHRD, New Delhi).
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/ OBC category (40% for SC/ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics with not less than pass marks in each subject

Entrance based Programmes

 

Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal husbandary

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala/ Association of Indian Universities/ MHRD, New Delhi) with not less than pass marks in each subject.
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/ OBC category (47.5% for SC/ ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.

 

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture

 

  • Academic Qualification: 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala/ Association of Indian Universities/ MHRD, New Delhi) with not less than pass marks in each subject.
  • Minimum Percentage: 50% marks for General/OBC category (40% for SC/ ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture.

  • Pay the fee through demand draft: Demand draft be drawn in favour of Comptroller, CSKHPKV, Palampur(H.P.)–176 062 payable at SBI, HPAU–Palampur (code 0003632) or payable at Palampur (in case of any other bank)

  • Provide details of Payment [Application Number], [Candidate Name], [Candidate Father Name], [Candidate Mother Name], [Candidate Date of Birth], [Candidate Mobile Number], [Fee Amount (Rs.) is Fixed as per category]. The fee amount should match the previously displayed amount.
  • After successful payment of above mentioned fee, note down [SBCollect Reference No], [Transaction Date] & [Amount] from SBI payment Detail webpage. Provide additional information required to reprint your e-receipt / remittance(PAP) form, if the need arises.

Admit Card

 

The Admit Card will be generated online after logging-in on the University Website with the user name and password created at the time of filling-up of application form. Admit card will be available for taking print out after last date of filling online application i.e. 15.05.2019. The applicant without admit card shall not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
