About Us
The ninth Indian Institute of Management was established at Ranchi in 2009. This was made possible with the extensive support of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand, working under the guidance of Ministry of Education, Government of India.
It started at a time when the management education world over was criticized for over emphasis on competition, aggression and achievement of results by any means. The biggest challenge was to revive the aura and exclusivity of classroom-teaching in an era ruled by the advent of technology in education as well. There was an evident void in terms of fulfilling the requirements of firms that employ management students.
Courses
BBA-MBA 5 Years
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed class XII or equivalent examination or appearing in 2026 from recognized board.
Admission Process
IIM Ranchi would like to inform that for admission into the IPM programme of IIM Ranchi will only be on the basis of scores of IPMAT 2026 (Conducted by IIM Indore).

- The candidates must register themselves online on their respective website.
- The candidates must pay the registration fees – RS 1250 (Rupees Four Thousand Two Hundred Fifty only).
- The candidates must carefully fill the form & read the instructions before applying.
