About the Quiz
The Jago Grahak Jago Quiz 2026 is a national-level online quiz organised by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov.
The quiz aims to promote consumer awareness and encourage citizens to make informed decisions by understanding their rights, responsibilities and available grievance redressal mechanisms.
Participants will get an opportunity to test their knowledge on important consumer-related topics and initiatives, including the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), e-Jagriti, National Test House (NTH), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), Legal Metrology, Dark Patterns and other consumer-centric initiatives.
The quiz is designed to help participants become more aware of their rights as consumers and understand the institutions and mechanisms that protect consumer interests.
Eligibility Criteria
The Jago Grahak Jago Quiz 2026 is open to:
- All Indian citizens
- School students can participate
- College students can participate
- There is no minimum school grade/class specified in the official eligibility criteria
Important: Employees of the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and MyGov are not eligible to participate.
Each participant can submit only one entry.

Quiz Duration & Questions
Participants will have to answer a maximum of 10 questions within 300 seconds.
The quiz will begin immediately after clicking the ‘Play Quiz’ button.
Participants should therefore manage their time carefully and attempt all questions within the prescribed time limit.
Important Rules
- The quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
- Each participant can submit only one entry.
- Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
- Once an entry is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn.
- Use of unfair means, malpractice, impersonation, double participation or fraudulent activity can result in disqualification.
- The organisers are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not transmitted because of technical issues, computer errors, network failures or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
- Proof of submission does not constitute proof that the entry has been received by the organisers.
- The organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions or cancel the quiz in unforeseen circumstances.
- The decision of the Department of Consumer Affairs and MyGov regarding the quiz will be final and binding.
Who Cannot Participate?
Employees of the following organisations are not eligible to participate:
- Department of Consumer Affairs
- Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
- MyGov
All other Indian citizens can participate, subject to the terms and conditions of the quiz.
How to Participate
Students and other eligible participants can follow these steps:
- Visit the official Jago Grahak Jago Quiz 2026 page on MyGov.
- Log in using MyGov authentication.
- Click on the ‘Play Quiz’ button.
- Answer a maximum of 10 questions.
- Complete the quiz within the 300-second time limit.
- Submit your responses.
Participants should ensure that they have a stable internet connection while attempting the quiz.
