AILET 2018- All India Law Entrance Test

AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam organized by the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. This exam is organized for providing admissions in UG & PG law courses B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M, Ph.D. Programmes, PG Diploma) offered by the Delhi national law university and its affiliated institutions.

 

AILET Application process has been started and the last date to fill the application form is 7 April 2018. AILET 2018 Entrance Exam will be conducted in Pen and Paper based mode only on 6 May 2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

 

Gender: Both

 

Class: The candidates should have passed Class 12 or senior secondary school examination in any discipline with 50 per cent marks. Those students who will appear in the Class 12 examination in March/April, 2018 can also apply for AILET 2018.

 

Age:  Be less than 21 years of age on the first day of July of the year of admission. However, in cases of SC or ST candidates the maximum age limit shall be 23 years as on the above date.

 

Total Seats: 80 seats, 10 seats are set aside for Foreign Nationals.

Below Poverty Line (BPL)

BPL applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.

 

 

Negative marking: There will be Negative Marking in AILET 2018. The criteria for negative

marking will be based on the formula 0.25*4=1 that means per wrong answer 0.25 Marks will be deducted. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.
