About Us
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an institution under the Ministry of Education (earlier known as Ministry of Human Resources and Development).
VVM is a national program for popularizing science among school students of standard VI to XI, conceptualised to identify the bright minds with a scientific aptitude among the student community.
Eligibility Criteria
All students under CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards from class VI to XI can be enrolled for this national level examination.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan Objectives

To inspire students to develop an interest in pure science.

To educate schoolchildren about India’s scientific and technological achievements, spanning from traditional to modern times.

To offer hands-on learning experiences through practical skill assessments.

To conduct competitive examinations aimed at identifying students with a natural inclination towards science.

To provide mentorship that supports students in advancing their education in scientific fields.

To recognize and honor outstanding students at both State and National levels.

To organize educational visits for awardees to various research and development institutions across the country.

To discover and cultivate scientific talent through a distinctive scholastic aptitude test.
