Eligibility Criteria

BTech (Bachelor of Technology), a four-year academic programme that culminates in the awarding of an undergraduate degree.
Qualifying Exam: You must have passed the 10+2 (PUC) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Compulsory Subjects: The examination must include Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects
Optional Subject: You must also have one of the following as an optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any relevant technical vocational subject.
Minimum Marks: You must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject).

Admission Process

The Candidate must appear for Manipal Institude of Technology – Manipal Entrance Test 2026 i.e. MIT-MET 2026 to be eligible for admissions. Candidate will get 2 attempts to appear for this entrance exam.

Exam Pattern

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Mathematics (15), Physics (10), Chemistry (10), and English (10).
Numerical Answer Type (NAT): Mathematics (5), Physics (5), and Chemistry (5).
Total Questions: 60 | Test Duration: 120 minutes | Max Marks: 240.
Negative Marking - MCQ: +4 for every correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer, 0 for every unanswered question. | NAT: +4 for every correct answer, 0 for every wrong, 0 for every unanswered question.
