B.Sc. /B.A. in Filmmaking with specialisation (3 Years)

 

The objective of this 3-year, 6-semester course is to create complete filmmaking professionals. Over the course of their study, students will have classes in theory of filmmaking and its various specializations, along with hands-on practical instruction.

  • B.Sc. / B.A. Filmmaking - 170 Intakes
  • B.B.A. in Media & Communication Studies - 120 Intakes

 

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

 

 

  • For B.A Program: Candidate must be a HSC or equivalent from a Recognized Board.
  • For BA in Fashion Designing Program: Candidates must have a HSC or equivalent from a Recognized Board and should have a minimum 17 years of age
  • For BBA Program: Candidate must be a HSC or equivalent from a Recognized Board.

 

 

 

Selection Procedure

 

For B.A Programme:

 

 

  • General Aptitude Test, Creative Ability Test & Personal Interview

 

 

For BA in Fashion Designing Programme:

 

 

  • General Aptitude Test, Creative Ability Test, and Personal Statement of Purpose
  • Selection Process will be held in the months of December 2017, April 2018, May 2018 & June 2018. The later Selection rounds will be exercised only if seats are vacant after the previous rounds

 

 

 

For BBA Programme:

 

 

  • General Aptitude Test and Group Discussion
  • Detailed selection process and eligibility given separately for each course on the official website.
  • Selection Process will be held in the months of December 2017, April 2018, May 2018 & June 2018. The later Selection rounds will be exercised only if seats are vacant after the previous rounds.
  • All components of the Selection Process will be held in WWI Campus in Mumbai, and will be completed in a single day. Students /parents will have to make their own travel arrangements and also stay arrangements, if applicable.

Reservations

 

 

  • As per Government of India norms, 15%, 7.5% and 27% reservation is available to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) respectively, for each of the programs
  • In addition, supernumerary seats are allocated to Persons With Disabilities (PWD) {3%}, Kashmiri migrants {1%} and children of the Armed Forces Employees {5%}

  • Application Fee of Rs.3000/- to be paid through the Online Payment Gateway only
