About Us
The University was established at Faridkot under an Act of Punjab State Legislature (Punjab Act No. 18 of 1998) in the name of great Sufi Saint Sheikh Farid Ganj-E-Shakar, (1173-1265 A.D.) in 1998 for purposes of affiliating, teaching and ensuring proper and systematic instruction, training and research in Modern Systems of Medicine and Indian Systems of Medicine. It is not only affiliating and examining body but also a teaching and research centre in health sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate must be 12th pass with PCB from recognized board or equivalent.

AGE - Candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December 2025. Candidates born on or after 01.01.2009 are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
NOTE - Rest Eligibility Criteria must be checked on the respective website as per Punjab Government Policy.
Selection Process
Candidates are supposed to appear for Entrance Exam - PPMET (Punjab Paramedical Entrance Exam) which will be conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
Exam Pattern
The Question Paper will comprise questions from the following sections ;
