About Krea University
Krea University’s School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) offers a multidisciplinary undergraduate education designed to help students explore different academic disciplines while developing depth in their chosen areas.
The SIAS undergraduate programmes are offered in BA, BA (Hons), BSc and BSc (Hons) formats. The programmes are full-time and have a duration of 3 or 4 years, depending on the programme selected. Students can explore multiple disciplines through majors, minors, cognate courses and electives.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying to Krea’s BA/BSc and BA/BSc (Honours) programmes must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants should either be studying in Grade XII or equivalent or should have already passed Grade XII/equivalent.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% or equivalent grades/credits in Class X.
- Applicants should generally be less than 21 years of age on August 1, 2026; Krea states that exceptional cases may be considered.
- Students from all recognised boards can apply, including CBSE, ISC, NIOS, State Boards, IB, Cambridge International A Levels and other international examination boards.
- IB Diploma/Certificate students can apply with a minimum of 24 credits, including at least three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects.
- Cambridge International A Level applicants need a minimum of three A Level subjects and must pass for admission.
- Students who have taken standardised tests such as SAT, ACT, CUET UG or Ei CREST are encouraged to provide their scores.
- There is no prescribed minimum cut-off score or mandatory extracurricular achievement required to apply. Krea follows a holistic evaluation process considering academic performance, personal qualities and overall potential.
Important: Krea’s current FAQ states that applications for the undergraduate programme commencing in August 2027 are open. Applicants should verify the latest age requirement and all eligibility conditions in the application portal before submitting their application.
Admission Process
Stage 1: Online application
- The online application form consists of following sections:
- Personal story
- Personal information
- Scores from grades 9-12, Grade 12 predicted scores (self-predicted/school predicted)
- Co-curricular, and extracurricular activities

Stage 2: Online assesment
- Students who submit the application with all the relevant documents will appear for the Krea Assessment Test (KAT) — an 80-minute virtual test that comprises the following four sections:
- Problem-Solving
- Critical Thinking & Verbal Ability
- Numeric Reasoning
- Writing Skills
- This step helps Krea University gauge students’ abilities to organise, synthesise, and articulate thoughts on various aspects of a given topic, and understand the well-rounded perspectives of the aspirant.

Stage 3: Krea immersive case analysis (KIC)
- Applicants shortlisted after the KAT may participate in the Krea Immersive Case Analysis (KIC). It will be conducted online for 15 minutes with two applicants per session and is divided into three parts:
- Part 1: Case Immersion
- Part 2: Structured Case Analysis
- Part 3: Decision Challenge
- The KIC is designed to evaluate an applicant’s ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and respond to real-world scenarios with clarity and creativity.
Stage 4: Personal interaction
KAT waiver applicants and shortlisted applicants will attend a 15-minute virtual Personal Interaction (PI) with members of the Krea faculty panel. In line with our mission rooted in diversity and inclusivity, we are resolute in providing aspirants opportunities to be assessed by varied techniques and not just a singular one. This helps candidates be their true selves and helps us understand if Krea University is the right fit for them.
Note:
- Applicants with eligible SAT, ACT, Ei CREST, CUET (UG) or Krea Assessment Test (KAT) scores may be invited directly to the Personal Interaction (PI) after submitting their online application.
- Applicants may also submit their Ei CREST scores in place of the Krea Assessment Test (KAT) and proceed directly to the Personal Interaction (PI).
Selection & Admission Decision
Krea evaluates applicants through a holistic selection process rather than relying solely on examination scores.
Applicants may be:
- Offered admission after successfully completing the selection process and meeting the required benchmarks.
- Waitlisted if their overall performance falls short of the selection benchmark in that admission round.
- Denied admission if they do not meet eligibility or selection requirements.
- Asked to submit pending documents if their application is incomplete.
Students who receive an offer based on predicted Class XII scores must subsequently provide documentation confirming successful completion of Grade XII. Passing the Class XII examination or equivalent is a minimum condition for undergraduate admission.
How to Apply
- Visit the official Krea University SIAS admissions portal.
- Register by entering the required basic details and verifying your email ID and mobile number.
- Complete the online application form.
- Fill in your personal story and personal information.
- Enter academic details and Grade 9–12 scores.
- Provide predicted Grade XII scores where applicable.
- Add co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the applicable application fee.
- Submit the application before the selected round’s deadline.
- Appear for the Krea Assessment Test or submit an eligible alternative score, as applicable.
- Participate in the Krea Immersive Case Analysis if shortlisted.
- Attend the Personal Interaction if shortlisted.
- Check the admission decision and complete acceptance formalities within the specified deadline.
