About Vision: Project Showcase 2026
Vision: Project Showcase 2026 is a project presentation and demonstration competition organized by SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat (Haryana). The event provides students with an opportunity to showcase innovative projects and demonstrate their understanding, technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities before a panel of judges.
Location: SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat (Haryana), Narela, Delhi, India
Team Size: 1–5 Members
Eligibility / Team Criteria
Participants can take part in teams according to the following requirements:
- Each team may consist of 1–5 members.
- Every project must have a unique project name and a registered team.
- A participant may participate in only one project, unless otherwise permitted by the organizers.
- All team members must be present during the designated project evaluation and presentation period.
Project Requirements
Projects may be developed in a wide range of domains, including:
- Technology and Engineering
- Science and Innovation
- Software and Hardware
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Internet of Things (IoT)
- Robotics
- Sustainability
- Other approved project domains
The project should demonstrate an original concept, meaningful implementation, or significant improvement over an existing solution.
Participants should be able to clearly explain:
- The problem statement
- Proposed solution
- Working principle
- Implementation
- Applications
- Limitations and future scope
Projects should preferably be functional or have a demonstrable prototype/model, wherever reasonably possible.
Competition Format
The event consists of one assessment round in which participants showcase their projects before the judges.
During the assessment, teams will present and demonstrate their projects, after which judges will evaluate them according to the applicable judging criteria.

Presentation & Demonstration
Each team will receive a fixed amount of time for its presentation and demonstration. The exact duration will be announced before the event.
Teams must:
- Complete their presentation within the allotted time.
- Explain the project's design, technology, implementation, and applications.
- Provide a live demonstration wherever applicable.
- Answer questions from the judges regarding the project's design, technology, cost, limitations, and future scope.
Failure to demonstrate a claimed feature may negatively affect the project's evaluation.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects may be evaluated on the following parameters:
- Innovation and originality
- Technical complexity
- Functionality and working
- Problem-solving approach
- Practical application
- Presentation and explanation
- Design and implementation
- Cost-effectiveness
- Future scalability
- Team's understanding of the project
The exact weightage assigned to each criterion may be announced by the organizing committee or judges.
Originality & Plagiarism
Participants are expected to present their own work and must appropriately acknowledge any external resources used.
- External libraries, datasets, references, open-source software, and hardware may be used with proper acknowledgement.
- Copying another team's project or falsely claiming someone else's work as one's own may result in disqualification.
- Judges may ask questions to verify the team's understanding and individual contribution.
- Participants should be able to explain how their project was designed and implemented.
Equipment & Venue Requirements
Teams are responsible for arranging and safely operating the equipment required for their projects.
Participants may need to bring their own:
- Components
- Laptops
- Power supplies
- Hardware
- Other project equipment
Participants must ensure that their equipment does not damage university property, furniture, electrical systems, or other participants' projects.
High-voltage, hazardous, flammable, or otherwise dangerous demonstrations may require prior approval and can be prohibited by the organizers.

How to Participate
Participants can take part in Vision: Project Showcase by following these steps:
- Register for the Event: Complete the registration process before the September 13, 2026 deadline.
- Form Your Team: Create a team of 1–5 members.
- Choose a Project: Select an innovative project in an approved domain such as AI/ML, robotics, engineering, software, hardware, sustainability, or science.
- Develop the Project: Build and test the project, prototype, or working model.
- Prepare the Presentation: Be prepared to explain the problem, solution, implementation, applications, cost, limitations, and future scope.
- Arrange Equipment: Bring the required laptop, components, power supply, and other equipment needed for the demonstration.
- Attend the Assessment: Present and demonstrate the project during the designated assessment period.
- Answer Judges' Questions: Be prepared to respond to technical and practical questions about the project.
- Await Results: Projects will be scored and ranked by the judges based on the applicable evaluation criteria.

Vision: Project Showcase 2026 is a valuable opportunity for students interested in engineering, technology, computer science, AI/ML, robotics, science, innovation, and entrepreneurship to demonstrate their practical skills.
