About Us
ST. XAVIER’S COLLEGE was founded in 1869 by the Society of Jesus, a Christian Religious Organisation started by St. Ignatius of Loyola. St. Xavier’s College is a Christian institution, that started with the purpose of educating the Christian community in India. It extends its services to members of other communities in an effort at building a truly inter-religious and intercultural human community in the country. On January 30, 1869, it was affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It became a Constituent College of the University, as a result of the Mumbai University Act 1953. It is entrusted by the University with the task of preparing students for degrees in Arts, Science, Commerce, Mass Media, Management Studies, and Information Technology.

The Candidate must be 12th with minimum 45% along with Mathematics as a subject pass or equivalent from recognised board .

AGE - Candidate’s date of birth must fall on or after 1st June, 2004.
