Panjab University is an Indian collegiate public state university located in Chandigarh. Funded through both State and Union governments, it is considered a state university. It traces its origins to the University of the Punjab in Lahore, which was founded in 1882.

NOTE –
- I.N.M.O. awardees can join B.Sc. (Hons.) Department of Mathematics without appearing in the PU-CET (U.G.) Entrance Test.
- *5% concession is admissible in eligibility marks to SC /ST/BC/PwD candidates.
- As per 2020 NEP, the degrees will be of 3 / 4 years respectively.
Admission Process
The Candidate willing to seeking admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh (Main Campus) & apply for any of the above mentioned course must appear for PUCET 2026 for being eligible for admissions after fulfilling the required eligibility criteria.
Centre Cities - The PU – CET (UG) Entrance Test will be held at CHANDIGARH, LUDHIANA, MUKTSAR AND HOSHIARPUR.

The Candidate must pay the registration fees – Rs 2850 (General Category) & Rs 1425 (SC/ST/PwD Category).

Additional paper (Biology/ Mathematics) – Rs 570.
