About Us
National Standard Examination (NSE) is conducted by IAPT in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Junior Science is the first stage for the international Olympiad. All further stages are conducted by Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai.
About the Olympiad Examination
It is a voluntary test administered by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) that aids in the selection of candidates for the International Olympiad of Science.
Eligibility Criteria
-
For NSEP; NSEC; NSEB and NSEA : Any student of class 12, 11 or 10 on 30.11.2005 & born between 1.7.2006 and 30.6.2011 both days inclusive.
Syllabus up to Class 12 CBSE India. -
For NSEJS any student of class 10, 9 or 8 on 30.11.2025 & born between 1.1.2011 to 31.12.2012 both days inclusive.
Syllabus Physics, Chemistry and Biology up to Class 10 CBSE India.
How to Apply

The candidate must qualify the eligibility criteria.

The candidate must read the guidelines carefully before applying.

The candidate must pay the exam fees as per the subjects he/ she picks i.e. Rs 200 per subject.
