About Us
The Institute of Mathematics and Applications was established in the year 1999, by the Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha with wide ranging aims and objectives as notified in the Gazette No. 18, July 23, 1999/SRAVANA, 1, 1921. In the last twenty two years since its inception, consistent with its aims and objectives, it has been active in research, teaching and nurturing talents in mathematics. Impressive activities of the Institute and its potential have persuaded the State Government to graciously lease a piece of land measuring about twenty one acres on which the TATA Steel Ltd. has constructed the present campus.

BSc Mathematics & Computing (Hons) - 4 years.
Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be 12th pass from recognized board.

The candidate can be from the Any stream.

Having Mathematics & English as a subject is compulsory.
Admission Process

The candidate must appear for the entrance test (IMA Own Entrance Test 2025) after fulfilling the eligibility criteria to be eligible for admissions.

Entrance Test will comprise of question only from Mathematics.
