SOF International Mathematics Olympiad Paper Pattern

This exam is conducted at 2 levels.

 

Level 1

 

Organized in the respective schools of the participants during school hours.

  • Separate Question paper for each class
  • Paper Language : English
  • 60 minute test duration
  • 50 Multiple type questions (for class 5 to 12)
  • 4 sections  (For class 5th to 12th)

  • Questions of level-I Olympiad exams will be 60% from the current class syllabus and 40% from the previous class syllabus
  • Questions of level-II Olympiad exams will be from current class syllabus only.
  • Questions in Achiever’s section will be from current class syllabus only.

 

 

Level 2

 

Conducted for participants who qualify the Level 1. Following students qualify for level 2:

  • Top 5% of students’ class wise, who appear for the 1st level exam,
  • Zone wise top 25 rank holders class wise, and
  • Class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks.
