  • 4-Year B.Tech (Marine Engineering) 
  • 4-Year B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) 
  • 3-Year B.Sc (Nautical Science) 
  • 3-Year BBA (Logistics, Retailing & E-Commerce) 
  • 3-Year B.Sc (Ship Building & Repair) - This Programme is being conducted only in one Affiliated Institute. 
  • 1-Year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)

  • Affilated Institutes: 18 affilated Institutes list-
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English
  • Selection Procedure: IMUCET


IMU CET Exam Pattern


  • No. of Questions – 200 multiple choice questions.
  • Syllabus - English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics at Plus 2 level.
  • Duration: 3 hour.
  • IMU CET question paper will be MCQ with four options to choose from, out of which only one is the correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. 


IMU CET Selection Process:


  • Candidates who are shortlisted based on CET scores will be called for Counselling
  • Physical Fitness Test
  • Medical Fitness Certificate

  • Course: B. Tech. Marine Engineering, B.Sc in Nautical Science
  • Duration: 4 Years and 3 year respectively
  • Eligibility criteria: 10+2 with At least 60% marks in (P C M)
  • Physical Fitness: You are advised to have yourself medically examined by competent doctors before applying.


Selection Procedure: 


  • 10+2 PCM marks
  • Rank in IMUCET
  • Interview & Psychometric (16 PF) Test
  • Medical Test


Samundra Institute of Maritime studies, Lonavala (Pune)


  • Course: B.Tech (Marine Engineering) 
  • Duration: 4 Years 
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with 60% marks in PCM and English shall be one of the subjects with minimum marks scored 50% in class X or XII


Selection Procedure:

  • Interview & Psychometric (16 PF) Test

Candidate must be in possession of a valid passport prior to joining the course
