Introduction

 

Veterinary Science is the science of diagnosing, treating and curing the diverse types of diseases in birds and animals. Besides giving treatment, Vets perform surgery; prevent spreading of diseases in animals by administering timely vaccination and medicines and give advice on care of pets and farm animals.

12th Pass in Science Stream as Biology as main subject.

B.V.Sc. & A.H

 

Duration

 

The duration of B.V.Sc. & A.H degree course is spread over five and half complete  professional years including a compulsory rotating internship of one year duration

 

Admission Procedure

 

Admission to B.VSc. and AH in India is by two ways.

NEET Score (VCI)

State Owned Entrances (Counselling by individual States)

The Veterinary Council of India VCI admits on the basis of NEET.

 

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)

 

The selection of candidates for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course under 15% All-India Quota shall be applicable to the recognized Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State).
