INTRODUCTION

 

Social service is the government services provided for the benefit of the community, such as education, medical care, and housing.
Social services are a range of public services provided by government, private, and non-profit organizations. These public services aim to create more effective organizations, build stronger communities, and promote equality and opportunity.
Social services include the benefits and facilities such as education, food subsidies, health care, police, fire service, job training and subsidized housing, adoption, community management, policy research, and lobbying.

ELIGIBILITY

 

  • 10+2 any stream
  • The minimum requirement for a professional position in this field is- Bachelor's degree in Social work (B.S.W. / B.A) - 3 year course.
  • A graduate in any discipline can join for the Masters Degree course in Social work (M.S.W. / M.A) which is of 2 year duration.

-will be a written test with a set of descriptive questions in English. Candidate is expected to write two short answers in 30 minutes carrying 40 marks. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts and make sure that they qualify in both the modes.

Exam Pattern

 

HSEE-2019 has two parts: Part I and Part II.

 

Syllabus for Part I consists of English (25% marks of Part I), Analytical and Quantitative Ability (25% marks of Part I), and General Studies (in four sub-parts; 50% marks of Part I).
Part II involves essay writing.
